Sign if you agree: Stephen Bannon's bigotry has no place in the White House - olgalazin@gmail.com - Gmail

Olga, Donald Trump has announced that white supremacist and anti-Semite Stephen Bannon will be a senior adviser in the White House.

The KKK and the American Nazi Party are celebrating. They believe that Bannon will hold Trump to his racist, fascist campaign promises.

Sign the petition to denounce Trump's appointment of white supremacist Stephen Bannon.

As a white Jew, I haven't felt personally endangered nearly as much as people of color. But I am worried. I went to Reno, Nevada to canvass for Clinton with Bend the Arc, a Jewish organization that began a campaign called "We've Seen This Before" early on in Trump's candidacy, making comparisons to Hitler's rise to power.

Many organizations, as well as prominent Democrats like Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi, have come out forcefully against Bannon. But Republicans must take a stand.

They should call out Trump for appointing Bannon and show that they won't stand for white supremacists in the White House. Many Republicans didn't denounce Trump's bigotry when he ran against Clinton, because they didn't want Clinton to win. Now that he's the President-elect, they have no excuse.

We can't normalize this. We can hope for the best, but we must prepare for the worst. Trump is showing the world that he plans to follow through on our worst fears. Let's fight him every step of the way.

Sign the petition to Congressional Republicans: Speak up and denounce Stephen Bannon. Call out Trump for appointing a white supremacist in the White House.

Keep fighting,
